Our love story began the most 21st-century way possible: on social media (Facebook to be exact). Antwan sent a message, Dionne eventually replied, and what started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something neither of us could escape—in the best way. From day one, it was clear that we were aligned. Same values. Same faith. Same interests. Same vision for the future. The conversations were easy, the laughs were frequent, and the connection was undeniable. So much so that just two months after making it official, we did something that really sums us up—we started couples counseling. Not because we had problems, but because we knew this was a forever thing and wanted to do it right. Intentional love only. Then came the adventures. In 2025 alone, we collected passport stamps and memories like pros—Paris, Jamaica, Barbados, Hawaii, Disney (because balance), and many other US destinations. Whether we were strolling through Paris, chasing sunshine in the Caribbean, or surviving theme park crowds hand-in-hand, traveling together confirmed what we already knew: we are each other’s favorite travel companion and safe place. Somewhere between deep conversations, frequent flights, and countless laughs, “the rest is history” became our reality. What we share is rooted in faith, strengthened by intention, and powered by love—and yes, a little sass. This journey has been nothing short of a blessing, and we can’t wait to continue building a life full of purpose, laughter, and new destinations—together, forever.

Ingrid is Dionne's best friend of 30 years!!! In Ingrid's words "nothing is more special than having the opportunity to stand by Dionne’s side as she marries Antwan, the love of her life. I’ve had the privilege of having Dionne in my life for over 30 years, and from the beginning she has been a supportive, consistent, and ride-or-die sister friend. Everyone knows that if they mess with me, they mess with her. I couldn’t ask for a better best friend. I’m so excited to share in this chapter of her life, and will be for her what she has always been for me. I love you both, and can’t wait to celebrate this union that God has created".

Tyrell is Antwan's best friend of 30 years! 
In Rell's words, "I’m from Sumter, SC and have two beautiful daughters. Enough about me; this is about the husband to be, Twan. We met in 6th/7th grade and it all started on the basketball court. I did him so dirty at the rec league tryouts that he begged to be my friend. I obliged and gave the young punk a chance. I must say that it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. We've been locked in ever since. He’s a great friend and even better person. Despite the fact that sometimes I want to choke the ish out of him, I’m proud of the man he has become. I look forward to him taking on married life and will be there if he or D need something. Congrats you guys. Love you both!"

Dress Code: Modern Black Tie/Formal Our wedding will be a Modern Black Tie/Formal celebration. Guests are expected to dress in elevated, formal attire that reflects a contemporary, fashion-forward aesthetic. This dress code is to be strictly observed. Appropriate attire includes: Men: Tuxedos or tailored black formal suits with modern silhouettes with bow ties or sleek neckties. Women: Floor-length gowns, refined evening dresses, or elevated formal looks with couture-inspired details. We kindly ask guests to avoid casual, semi-formal, cocktail, or daytime attire. Your adherence to this dress code helps preserve the tone, elegance, and visual experience of our celebration.

Accommodations 

When will the formal invitation/RSVP be sent out?Formal invitations will be sent physically and/or digitally in May 2026. Please contact Dionne or Antwan if your contact information has changed. You will be able to submit your RSVP digitally on the wedding website. When is the RSVP deadline?June 30, 2026. Guests who fail to RSVP on or before this date will be removed from the guest list and will not be allowed to attend the wedding. Only confirmed guests will be able to enter the venue on 9/28/26. This will be strictly enforced! What type of venue is The Casey?Built in 1922, natural light is bathing the expansive entertainment space with its original 22-foot-high sawtooth ceilings, and steel framed windows. The Casey combines elegance and warmth, sophistication and confidence. Can I bring my children or a plus-one?No children are allowed. Only guests listed on the invitation can be accommodated for our wedding. What is the dress code for the wedding?Our wedding will be a Modern Black Tie/Formal celebration. Guests are expected to dress in elevated, formal attire that reflects a contemporary, fashion-forward aesthetic. This dress code is to be strictly observed. What time does the ceremony start?The ceremony will start at 3:30pm sharp. Seating will begin at 3:00pm. Guests who arrive late will not be able to enter the ceremony until after the entrance of the bride. Will alcohol be served at the wedding?To ensure we're thoughtfully accommodating all of our guests, we will NOT be hosting an open bar. However, a full bar will be available for purchase throughout the evening, and all transactions will be cashless (credit or debit card) for your convenience. A selection of complimentary mockatils and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for guests to enjoy. Where should I park at the wedding venue?Ample parking is provided directly in front of the venue. Is it okay to post wedding photos on social media?Please refrain from posting any photos or videos on social media until the bride and groom have done so on their personal pages. Please be advised that the ceremony will be unplugged (no cell phones in use, photos, or videos) but feel free to create as many camera memories as you want before and after the ceremony. What if I have food allergies and/or dietary restrictions?Please reach out to Dionne or Antwan if you have specific allergies/dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate.
